Tourism Award Writing
turning great businesses into award winners
Lizzy has helped tourism operators across the South West transform years of hard work into award-winning submissions. Her approach combines interviews, research and data gathering to describe and quantify initiatives and improvements. To tell a story about what makes a business truly exceptional.
Recent successes include writing the submissions for the Australian Tourism Awards that secured Gold for Pullman Bunker Bay Resort in the 5-Star Luxury Accommodation category for three consecutive years (2023, 2024 and 2025), earning Hall of Fame status. She also wrote the submissions that won Gold in the Business Events category in 2023 and 2024, and a Silver-winning submission for McLeod Tours in 2025.
The secret isn't fancy words. It's uncovering the stories, achievements and measurable results that demonstrate excellence and make judges take notice.
Lizzy is taking a break from writing submissions in 2026. She is available for consulting, reviewing and providing feedback on tourism award entries.
TOURISM AWARD SUCCESS
How It Works
Lizzy works closely with business owners and managers to identify new initiatives and achievements, quantify results and gather the evidence needed to create a strong submission. Through a series of conversations and reviews, she helps uncover the details that often get overlooked simply because they're part of everyday business.
From there, she develops a clear narrative that showcases your strengths, achievements and commitment to excellence, all while ensuring the submission meets award criteria.
What’s included
